When you look up
flourish in the dictionary, it reads, “to be in one’s prime; be at the height
of fame, excellence, influence, etc.” and “to grow luxuriantly.” Doesn’t that
sound beautiful? Doesn’t that sound like something you want? Well, that’s
exactly what all of us leaders want for each one of you! MOPS is not only a
place to come and find rest, and encouragement, and friends; but we hope it is
a place that challenges you to turn your eyes and heart toward your Heavenly
Father, and not only grow, but FLOURISH! Right now you are at the height of
your influence to your sweet children God has entrusted you with, showing them
how to love by loving them; showing them how to serve by serving them and
others; teaching them right from wrong; consideration and respect; you know I
could go on and on! Make it count, all of it, even those tedious tasks of
laundry, dishes, and diapers. Oh how I pray you learn to flourish this year, I
know I sure am going to try. Let us love you, let us serve you, let us
challenge you to grow luxuriantly, and may this be your best year yet!
